1,2,3….MADAME!

Some days ago ended the 27th edition of the Wine Festival in Meran, to which we have been taking part for many years.

The first bottle of the millesimo 1999 was opened, after eight years of aging on the lees, in an exclusive event dedicated to this rare sparkling wine at the Merano Wine Festival 2008 edition.

The first vintage had a white and gold label, today is characterized by a blue and gold “dress” that allows it to stand out.

A reserve rank, waiting unhurried, where the alchemy of grapes – Pinot Noir, Chardonnay fermented in wood and an unusual proportion of Meunier – would lead to uncork a sparkling wine, full in its proper stage of ripeness.

The Reserve Maso Martis is the quintessence of the terroir of Martignano, the expression of a single wine that bears the fresh and sunny climate of Trentino and its Dolomites and – ultimately-the hallmark of a signature of our winery.

This year 2018, was a lucky year for Madame Martis Brut Riserva Vintage 2008, because it received the highest quotations of all the wine guides, in Italy and abroad ( such as the prestigiuous Wine Enthusiast), and was elect as one of the ten wines that are at the top according to the most prestigious guides ( it was the only classic method sparkling wine in the list 😉 ).

One of the prizes was the Platinum Award assigned by the WineHunter of the Merano Wine Festival to 33 wines that scored 95/100 points and more.

The first Platinum Award we received was two years ago for the Madame Martis Brut Riserva Rare Vintage 2006. It was always a real pleasure and a great satisfaction 🙂
